It was around 9:30 in the evening. She was late from her meeting and was already so disgusted with Boss’s yelling. Her scooty got punctured too, adding up to her frustration.
No matter what you try fate won't rest, they say.
She looked for mechanics or maybe a garage or any help to reach out to but nothing.
Wasn’t that noisy that day? Not too busy of a road it was anyway.
She heard car honking and relieved about getting the puncture done. But, it isn't that easy in a world like ours to find help.
The next what she heard was bottles clinking. Hootings! Whistles! Her fists tightened. Her teeth pressed hard. She started breathing heavily due to the morning article she read about a gang rape and how the girl suffered immense pain and troubles.
She couldn't help but walk faster along with that pink vehicle beside her to drag down the silent street of that town. She knew she wasn't secure. She knew it was the time for trouble.
These moments never let you think anything apart from all the negative thoughts. Burying her fear down was the only step she could have taken but where to get the courage from?
If one door closes, the other opens. Boss wanted to know if she reached home safely after that dreadful meeting. He calls. She answers. Tells where she exactly is. What else to say. "trapped!"
Within 10 minutes after handling those whistles and those bastards trying to grab her hands and hair and arms and chest and stomach and there was one so close to her neck, she knew he was the vampire. She shouted as loud as she could. Bit one guy and kicked the other. But the third one grabbed her from behind tearing her dress again. Oh it wasn't a movie and it wasn't easy either. But the boss was here.
Her scarf was still in one the guy's hand and her soul was long gone. She couldn't do anything. Boss was beaten up, later thrown away somewhere.
And then it started,
From the sleeves of her kurti, tearing off the shoulders, reaching to the neckline. Bursting in tears and shouting at the top of her voice, begging for it. Begging to leave her in whoever's name sake. The alcohol was spread all over her over the wounds and every part. The bottle was broken on her head. She passed out. They didn't stop. Licked the alcohol from onto her. They didn't even deserve to be called animals. Four human like beasts ganging up on her to fulfill their thirst and making her bleed in shame and pain for a lifetime.
She kept lying there for an hour until the guard came and saw her lying down, without her clothes on. Her scarf was there beside her but nobody dared to clothe her up.
Parents could kill themselves and never even think of what happened to their daughter again. She was there in a coma.
All she wanted was a life with happiness but all got was a life worse than death!
